A little slither of heaven exist right here on earth and we happen to find it on Unicorn Island. *Video at the bottom of article*
Now, it’s not necessarily right in our backyard but when you locate a pot of gold do you follow the rainbow or look the other way?
We say chase the rainbow, which in this case just so happens to lead us to the Philippines where Unicorn Island exists.
To be exact, the whimsical destination is actually part of a sprawling 4,100 square mile tourist attraction called Inflatable Island.
Now don’t go thinking this is just a vacation spot for the kids because, in all actuality, the beach retreat is a fun-loving destination for all.
The massive beach playground is an opportunity for adults to release their inner child while enjoying inflatable slides, towers, bridges, swings, and human launchers — all located offshore.
As their website put it, “This is beach play reimagined.” And it is just that. This year in 2018 the funfilled island just included their new attractions, Pink Bali Lounge and UNICORN ISLAND!
Pink Bali Lounge is an adorable sandy beach lounge area complete with pastel color beach umbrellas and plush pillow-type lounging sacs. It’s a cotton candy Moroccan themed sandy paradise.
Now, on to the best part. Unicorn Island is an inflatable offshore unicorn-themed obstacle course. Just like that of the much bigger Inflatable Island obstacle course but unicorn-themed. Let it all go and enjoy your childish side.
Then let your adult side take over as night falls with fun drinking games like beer bong. Check out their Sunset Party Packages that include obstacle course action and food and drinks. Click here for group rates.
If you’re just trying to enjoy the obstacle courses then the day passes, Play Passes (Sprinkle – hourly, Splash – 50 minutes, Spray – 230 minutes, and Soaked – all day), are right up your alley.
To get to this slice of heaven requires some additional travel since the island isn’t located directly in the Philippines. The fantastical island is located in Subic Bay roughly 80 miles west of Manila, Philippines. Seaplane arrival takes 15 minutes from Manila.
For accommodations, check their website of accredited hotel list. Subic Bay Freeport Hotels are located adjacent to Inflatable Island. The website “suggests booking through agoda.com for the best deals.”
*KWIRMedia.com has not been to Inflatible Island and is only reporting on the tourist destination from the information provide on Inflatible Island’s website. Please be advised to do your research on the destination before making any plans to visit the location.
