Keep your hair on your head clean while supporting a great cause.
Rudy’s (a barbershop chain) strong partnership with the It Gets Better Project has evolved over the six years they’ve been involved with each other to now include a new LGBTQ youth initiative called, “Get Clean For A Good Cause.”
The altruistic barbershop Rudy’s has been open since 1993. And since then, the hair saloon for men has been fiercely adamant about providing a welcoming and safe space for everyone to get their haircut.
The chillaxing barbershop is so invested in its surrounding communities that they think of themselves as a community center of sorts where friends and neighbors can come and feel comfortable in a judgment-free zone.
To expand on its funloving, supportive approach that since conception included the fight for inclusivity and acceptance of the LGBTQ community, the company partnered with the It Gets Better Project (an LGBTQ youth advocacy organization).
Along with expanded to multiple barbershops in Washington (headquarters and first shop in Seatle), California, Oregon, New York, Tennesse and Georgia, Rudy’s has also expanded on its LGBTQ advocacy mission with the release of its new hair and body products 1-2-3.
“Rudy’s × The It Gets Better Project: Get Clean For a Good Cause” is the passionate barbershop’s commitment to helping care for the essential needs of LGBTQ displaced youth. For every purchase of a 1-2-3 product, Rudy’s will donate a week’s worth of the same product to a shelter that serves LGBTQ youth.
Rudy’s 1-2-3 products are nifty pump bottle hair and body care products. No. 1 is the shampoo, No. 2 is the Conditioner and No. 3 is the body wash. You can purchase the bottles separately or as a bundle. Each product is sulfate and paraben free. Plus, the shampoo and conditioner are safe to use on color-treated hair.
