Pulse Nightclub goers in Orlando, Florida were tragically gunned down by a deranged shooter on June 12, 2016. It was a night that shocked the world and took the place as the largest mass shooting in the United States at the time.
Although the country has seen more mass shootings since the horrific events of Pulse, we the LGBTQ community will never forget our fallen brothers and sisters especially those who live in Florida and frequented Orlando and Pulse Nightclub themselves.
To show their love and continue the memory of all those we lost in the tragedy, MBGP along with the famous South Beach Lincoln Road lit up rainbow color lights at 111 Lincoln Road on Monday, April 2, 2018.
The honor of illuminating the building during the “Flips the Switch” event was Pulse survivor Laura Vargas. The “Pride Lights the Night – A Tribute to PULSE” will be shining brightly for the whole week of MBGP.
