The AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), a global leading HIV prevention, testing and treatment organization, is working on lawsuits against the biopharmaceutical drug company Gilead.
AHF push to sue Gilead is based on the bone density loss and kidney disease-producing agent called tenofovir which is found in many of Gilead’s HIV drugs such as Truvada, Viread, Atripla, Complera, and Stribild.
The nonprofit HIV centered organization claims that “there is substantial evidence that Gilead withheld Genvoya (TAF), a safer alternative version of these tenofovir drugs until its original patents on TDF medication expired.” Thus, contributing to drug users’ bone density loss and kidney disease problems.
AHF also claims that Gilead “knew that its TDF drugs caused serious side effects, but chose profits over patients.” To help those that have been affected by Gilead’s suppose nefarious activities, AHF is making it their mission to support the victims of the drug company’s negligent and unlawful behavior.
If you or a family member has suffered from bone density loss and/or kidney disease and you believe it is from one of the previously mentioned Gilead medications that contained tenofovir then please reach out to AHF. All you will need to do to get started is fill out a brief 2-minute questionnaire so that they may get in contact with you to see if you have a viable lawsuit on your hands.
The lawsuits aren’t just about money. AHF says it’s about holding Gilead accountable for their wrongdoing. But money is on the table as a form of compensation to those who have suffered at the hands of Gilead’s deceitful actions. AHF indicates that individuals could be compensated for medical bills, future medical expenses, past and future lost wages, pain and suffering and wrongful death including funeral expenses.
“TDF drugs like Truvada can reduce bone density to the point that some taking the drug have suffered fractures and other issues related to the bones,” wrote AHF about the side effects of Bone Demineralization and Bone Density Loss. “A bone density test can determine if your bones have been affected by TDF drugs.”
“TDF drugs like Truvada may cause renal impairment (kidney damage), tubular toxicity, chronic kidney disease (CDK), and even kidney failure (aka acute renal failure, or ARF),” wrote AHF about the side effects of Kidney Damage. “A full examination of kidney functions can evaluate if any of these impairments have resulted from TDF drugs.”
Don’t allow yourself or a family member to be one of Gilead’s hopeless victims. Reach out to AHF sooner than later to see if you have a claim against the supposedly reprehensible company before it’s too late to file a lawsuit. Visit ahfgileadlawsuit.org to learn more and submit your questionnaire.
